Is Your Car Ready to Hit the Street Racing Scene…? Part I
Take a good look at your stock car, and then for reference watch the fast and the furious, and tell me how it compares. If it looks like it could be in that movie then yes, your car definitely is ready to hit the street racing scene. But if it pales miserably in comparison, don’t despair just yet. We might be able to give it enough flavor and attitude to be worthy. It will take time, money, patience, courage, creativity, hard-work and determination. A tall order for sure, but if you’re truly decided then you must have all of these to seriously trick out your ride.
First, of all let me assure you that every car has the potential to be great, assuming of course it is of reasonable age. If you’re thinking about pimping your 1972 model, I say forget it. It would take double the amount of time required for newer models plus the expenses I believe would be too great that you could actually buy a decent used car with the amount. For those that have healthy stock cars though, I’m sure you have lots of love for your car. And if you’re finally ready to add a bit of flair to it, there are simple additions and processes that you can give it to spice it up a bit because entering the street racing scene is not for your grandma’s jalopy. Street racing is all about respect. The moment you park your car everybody will be sizing you and your car up. Your looks might add some respect, but racers are not in for personal looks, rather it is by your car that you are truly measured. No matter how butt-ugly you look as long as you have a seriously great piece of automobile candy, you will still be able to earn everybody’s love, respect and admiration. Of course, you still have to brush up on your driving skills because no matter how good or fast your car goes you still need the skills to be a winner. But still, there are tons of performance kits for your car to compensate for your poor driving skills, or lack thereof. I will help you in turning your meek Honda civic into mean road-going machines.
